- I've been working on this garden since we moved here in 2004. We dug up the best of our old garden (mainly shrubs) and transported it here. The plot was pretty much empty apart from some brambles, tons of bindweed and a handful of mature shrubs. My priority has been creating privacy but it's slow progress...getting better each year. Unlike the battle with the bindweed.
